AMD 1

For this AMD I decided to write a letter to my uncle Karl in Gütersloh Germany. I found this to AMD to be much more enjoyable than my previous AMDs because it allowed me to apply what I have learnt throughout the semester to contacting someone I haven't seen in almost a decade. It also allowed me practice with the Dativ and converstational past forms which is always good practice. In my letter I wrote about what I was doing in school, where I lived, how old I was now, etc. I also asked him to write back and asked how he liked his city, what the culture was like there, and if he drank lots of bier. A happy consequence of my letter was that I was also able to learn a little bit about the city of Gütersloh while researching things to ask about. Hopefully I will hear back from him and he doesn't criticize my Duetsch too much!
