AMD 5

For my 5th AMD assignment i listened to and reserched the orgins of the German national anthem, and was pleasently supprised at how much i could understand. The anthem "das Deutschlandlied" which translates as 'song of Germany,' has been used as the national anthem in full or part since the year 1922, however since world war 2 and the fall of the Nazi's only the third stanza is commonly used my favourite line in the anthem is 'Deutschland, Deutschland über alles, über alles in der welt' which means Germany Germany above all, above all in the world! I found this paticulary amusing.
